Meet your coach

Hi, I’m Katrin! Having worked many years in the area of leadership development at a large multinational corporation across different countries in Europe and with many international clients as founder of The Globe Team, I have seen quite a few teams succeed, but also some of which have failed. One thing that I always noticed was the large impact the leader’s behaviour had on the team’s success – both positively and negatively.

Therefore I believe that it’s essential to invest in leadership skills from the beginning and I would like to support you during the transition phase from team member to team leader!

My leadership experience is based on working closely with more than 100 team leaders across different countries and companies in team development processes and 1:1 coaching. In addition, I have served as a leader myself for several teams, project teams, and employee networks, as well as a volunteer in civil society organisations.

I’m looking forward to working with you!

Katrin Grunwald

Leadership coach
Consultant for team & organisational development
Founder of The Globe Team

It is for:

  • People who are keen on self-development and ok with openly sharing and reflecting with others, maybe also about mistakes they made

  • People used to working in English and who feel comfortable sharing about their own experiences in English

  • People able to dedicate time alongside their busy work schedules to invest in themselves becoming good leaders right from the start

It is not for:

  • If you have already been leading a team for a long time

  • If you are not so keen on self-reflection and learning

Are you ready to become a leader who is confident and effectively leading a team for the first-time?

For module 1 it is good to plan around 1 hour of additional self-reflection. The other modules require around 15 minutes of self-reflection.

Yes, if you just recently in the last months took over your first leadership role, you can join, too! It’s just that content for example from module 1 where it’s about the preparation before starting the leadership role, might not be just as relevant to you. The rest of the modules, however, cover important general leadership topics and definitely bring great value to you in addition to the community exchange with other first-time leaders!

The first community call will be on October 7th around lunch time: 12 to 1:30pm Berlin time.

The second community call will be on October 20th early evening: 6 to 7:30pm Berlin time.

They will both take place via Zoom.

Each community call is a workshop that lasts 1.5 hours and consists of:

  • Introduction
  • Content input
  • Exchange about the participants’ topics/peer coaching
  • Wrap-up and actions for experiential learning between the community calls

1:1 individual coaching sessions with our First-Time Leader coaches can be booked additionally, they do not form part of the pilot price.

Yes, that’s possible! Get in touch via katrin@the-globe-team.com and we can exchange about it.

There is also the possibility to have additional workshops exclusively for your company’s participants in addition to the content from the video modules and community exchange they will have with first-time leaders from other organizations.
